Quick Biography:
Doctor Stringham was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He came to the Washington, DC area in 1975 to attend Georgetown University School of Dentistry. He fell in love with Northern Virginia and a particular girl from Arlington whom he married in 1976.
In articles in Washingtonian Magazine (1991) and Washington Checkbook Magazine (1991, 2005, 2007, 2008,and 2009), Dr Stringham was listed among the top dentists in Northern Virginia.
Dr. Stringham was recognized in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012 by the Consumer Research Council as one of "America's Top Dentists".
In 2009, Dr. Stringham was named "Professional of the year 2009 in Cosmetic Dentistry" by Strathmore's Who's Who
In 2010, 2011 and 2012 Dr Stringham was listed among the Top Dentists in Northern Virginia after a survey of his peers by USA Top Dentists, Virginia Living Magazine, and Northern Virginia Magazine
Dr. Stringham has been a skier all his life and loves to schuss the deep powder of Alta, Utah. He has been an active leader in Boy Scouts of America for many years and serves now as a District Commissioner. Currently, he is very active in church and community activities. He and his wife, Karen live in Vienna, Va. They have four children and six grandchildren.
Dr Stringham has received advanced training from the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry in CEREC cad-cam dentistry; focusing on cosmetic applications for one-visit dental makeovers. He has also received advanced CEREC training from Great Lakes Education Center. Implant Surgery training was received at The Practical Clinical Courses Center from Dr. Gordon J. Christensen and Dr. George Bailey. Mini Implant surgical and restorative training was completed with Samuel Shatkin, Inc. Amherst, NY under Todd Shatkin, DDS
Dr. Stringham is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Society, and the Crown Council. He currently serves as a delegate to the Virginia Dental Association.
